This striking piece of WWI trench art dates to 1919 and was crafted from a 75mm artillery shell casing, richly embossed by hand. A soaring dove—universally recognized as a symbol of peace—is etched into the brass above the bold numerals 1919, marking the first full year of peace after the Armistice. On the reverse, a tall floral motif climbs vertically, with leaves and petals carefully raised in relief. The bottom half of the pills cialis online canada casing has been expertly fluted—likely formed by hand while the shell was still warm from use—creating a flowing, sculptural effect that enhances its grace and presence.

Made from a French 75mm shell casing, this piece was likely decorated by a soldier either during or shortly after service in the trenches.
