The Swing was designed with two handed rods in mind but it features a sealed hub design that works in both fresh and saltwater situations.
The Galvan Swing Reel has a mid arbor spool with u-shaped arbor perfect for efficiently managing a range of spey lines. Swing Reels feature 3 pawl drag engagement, and extra large handle, easy right to left conversion, sealed hub, easy spool removal, carbon fiber drag, type 2 saltwater safe anodization, and minimal start up inertia. The Swing is available in 5 sizes to cover trout spey to big salmon spey, line weights 2-10wt. A super attractive aspect of the Swing Reel is that it is made in California by craftsman who have made top quality reels for years and years.
