Steve has been carrying out expeditions in some of the world's most inhospitable places for many years, and is an expert on what kind of products excel in the wilderness.

Steve approached us to design a hammock together, and after months of discussion and refining the design the culmination is the DD Steve Backshall Jungle Hammock: a comfortable, lightweight and innovative hammock that is ready for adventure in any corner of the world.

DD Recycled - Sustainable and comfortable

The hammock's main body is made from DD's Recycled polyster - originating from over 200 plastic bottles. As well as helping to keep single-use plastic from our environment, this material is also comfortable and breathable for use in warm and humid conditions.

Quick & Innovative Suspension

Featuring an innovative suspension system that makes it easy to set up your hammock almost anywhere. Strong Amsteel (Dyneema cord) loops connect via strong DD Hammock - Karabiners to Daisy Chains. Spacious and bugproof

A fully bugproof mosquito net suspended with elastic cord provides protection against biting insects, so you can sleep without worry wherever you pitch up.
